Clinics and Services

Baby Checks

Every week, one of the Doctors is available to perform 8-week baby checks. Appointments for the 8-week checks are arranged for you by our administration team.

Our Practice Nurses are also available to give child immunisations on Tuesday afternoons (by appointment).

You can also see a Health Visitor. They offer support to parents to maximise the health and wellbeing of their family through discussion about their health needs and strengths, building supportive family relationships and engaging in wider community services and support.

Cervical Screening (Smears Tests)

All eligible women between the ages of 25 and 64 are advised to have a cervical cancer smear test every 5 years.

If you have abnormal bleeding, for example, after sex or in between periods you should book a review with their GP.

The national screening programme has a computerised call and recall system, and will send regular invitations to attend. Appointments can be made with our Practice Nurses by contacting reception.
